In the introduction to calculus, I learned the function: f(x) is y equals f of x. The y is dependent variable, x is independent variable. T= f(t) P= f(mortality) odd and even function: odd f(-x) = -f(x) and even f(-x) = f(x). The essential concepts of linear and quadratic I need to learn are linear function f(x)= mx+c, m= y2- y1/ x2- x1 is the slope, c is y-intercept, y-intercept, y= mx+c is equation line. The essential concepts of basic function are power functions revisited, polynomial functions revisited and rational functions Algebraic functions, Exponential and log functions, Trigonometric. The sine and cosine should be on a unit circle circle with +1 and -1, the sine and cosine on a right triangle. How to find the domain and range of a function without a calculator. The equation for decay is m(t) and h= half life= time for amount to decrease by 1/2.
In this class, I also learned a lot important things unrelated to the mathematics. Firstly, we need to stay positive and have a good opinion to meet different problems. By this way, we can solve almost problems in our life.
Secondly, I know serious of the cheating and it is really hard for me to do it, it will bring a lot problems to me. It should not be allowed in the studying and we never should do that in the progress of the learning.
Hi Andy,
Thank you for your post. You gave a detailed summary of our class content.
I also am glad you remembered about staying positive and to avoid plagiarism. These are values that not every teacher can teach you and which not every student would get even after I taught them for long.
Next time, please structure your post in paragraphs; each paragraph should focus on one idea.
Congratulations and good luck in your exams
Amazing. We should be together
It is great, i like ur blog. Cheating is not a good thing
I really love this passage, it represents what we learned during the class.
