The summary of the first semester

I have learned a great number of useful knowledge about calculus in this semester . Mr. T led us to review some basic functions such as log function , exponential function , linear function and piece wise function . He also taught us some new information to make us have better preparation for the latter calculus class . We understood how to use the odd and even function , the skills about using the calculator ,which helped us deal with questions easily .

In this week , the teacher taught us introduction to calculus . Calculus is very dissimilar to other branches of math : un like other kinds of math which are static . Calculus is dynamic . Besides , calculus deals with quantities that approach each other . There are two parts of calculus and they attempt to solve two main problems respectively . Both parts have a foundation to them called Limits . Today , we will begin to under the concert of limits as is used in both parts of calculus .

The first thing that I learn in this class except math is the way to face the trouble . When we are in dilemma , we should stay positive instead of giving up . Staying positive can bring you more chances to reach the success .

The other staff is that past is past . We should not feel exhausted for the thing that has already happened. We should look forward and keep working hard .
