In the first period of the second semester, I learned the basic classes of functions----Domains of functions. In this part, I know much things about Power function, Polynomial function, Rational function, Algebraic function, Exponential and logarithmic function, and Trigonometric functions, these are very interesting and helpful knowledge in Calculus. We learned about the trig function on unit circle and right triangle, we should able to change degree to radian and we must remember basic properties important values and the six standard trig function.
Also, we learned Inverse functions: f(x)=y ; the Exponential Functions, to convert between log, and we know about remembering the interest formula ; how to use the calculators and computers; the Parametric Equation that x=f(t),y=y(t) , t is a parameter, x^2+y^2=a^2, a is the radius. We learned the introduction of Calculus that AP Calculus is different with other branches of Math, it is static and dynamic. It deals with quantities and there are two parts calculus and they attempt to solve two main problems respectively. We learned the tangent problem and the velocity problem and the solutions for them at the end of the first period of the second semester. These math knowledge are all very helpful and useful for me to solve the problems of mathematics easier.
Good summary of the content, David.
You could have included some specific ideas about your plan too tackle calculus and something unrelated to math that will be useful in your life. You learned many values in my class, I think
That is so cool, I think your writing is amazing!
You know nothing David Yu
