GOALS

The aim of the training is to get subject teachers and administrators to be familiar and comfortable with using technology to facilitate school-wide operations and classroom instruction.  Too often there is a misconception that technology use in schools takes a lot of effort and, worse of all, negatively impacts student learning.  This belief is either held by those who fear technology or have not had the proper training to understand how to effectively integrate technology in the school.  This training aims at changing these misconceptions and, thus, get school members to see things differently; they will learn how to incorporate technology to benefit classroom instruction as well as the school at large.  The training, therefore, will help with the transformation of the school to meet up with 21st-century standards; thus, benefiting all school stakeholders (students, staff, parents, etc.).
